On two consecutive days! On Saturday I took part in a performance of “Under Milk Wood” on Mersea Island where I live. Afterwards, a member of the audience came up and told me she had enjoyed “dunno.” The very next day, I met a social worker at a children’s home in Norfolk. She told me how realistic and informative the book was. Both women appreciated that I had revealed the workings of a disturbed teenage mind.
