So, as well as the millions we already pay, and for which the Union does not account, even more is required of us. And still the British government dares not ask us for an opinion.
In the last year or so, British parliamentarians have had to put their allowances in order and “Fat cats” who avoid paying tax are now denounced. Why shouldn’t any of us avoid paying tax if some of it is to be handed to the EU?
No chance, I suppose, of Eurocrats cutting their own perks as an example to us all and, particularly, to the people of Greece and Spain.
