What happened to me?

 

 I know what it’s like - I failed English literature at school then taught myself.

 I earned a good degree in English from London University, by private study.

 I have taught, and helped students to conquer difficulties, for thirty years.

 I have marked examination papers for twenty years - O and A-levels and the        International Baccalaureate.

 I am a published writer - a novel, a textbook and the national press.

 I enjoy teaching.
